OK, I'll play.....here's my five weird things...

1. I don't watch tv much at all, but when good a good series comes out, I'll wait until i can get at least 2 or 3 seasons on dvd or stream them online and CRACK out on them for days on end. I think the main thing is being able to watch ALL of them, in order, no gaps. Right now, I'm cracking out on Lost.....in two days I've watched almost all of season one while stringing beads. Season one of Dexter only lasted me a day. Also, if I really like a series or a movie, I can watch it over and over, like for example The Big Lebowski and Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? make an appearance at LEAST every couple of months.
2. Everything in my world is cyclic....like, for three or four months, I'll be really organized, then the next three or four, not so much, then back onto the organizational bandwagon.........like, my crafty-ism, for a couple of months, it'll be the beads, then for a couple of months, its crocheting, then for a couple of months, it's sewing (or what I do, which isn't very much like real sewing), then for a couple of months, it'll be the clay....the beads MUST co-incide with the upswing in the organizational cycle tho, because I AM the anal-retentive crafter (like Phil Hartman's anal-retentive chef on SNL)...I can't work from chaos, so all the bead trays must be at least 95% sorted out before I begin.
3. I'm a list maker. I LOVE to make lists, especially during the organized part of my cycle, but even when I'm un-organized, I still make lists....and they get detailed, sub topics and so on.....so, my WEIRD thing is......sometimes, when I make to-do lists, I put stuff that I've already done on the list, just so I can cross it off. *insert shamefaced emoticon here*
4. OK, here's my weird food thing, but I don't think it's as weird as the anti-cheeseite or anti-pickleite folk....when there's leftover spaghetti and sauce, they MUST be stored separately. I can't stand it when they're stored together and the noodles soak up part of the sauce...it's dead to me after that! This only applies to red sauce, by the way.
5. There aren't many things that I buy new clothing-wise....shoes and bras/undies, that's about it....other than those and some band/festival shirts, I don't think I've bought a new article of clothing in 15 years or so.

Bacon Vodka

Bacon vodka, yes...as many of you know, I've had several jars of said bacon vodka infusing for several weeks now. I'm going to process them (=strain out the meat and fat) just before i leave on Wednesday, so that they infuse for the max amount of time. I can't freakin wait....bacon makes EVERYTHING better....why not booze? I'm thinking to serve it for breakfast/brunchers at festival, in a bloody mary in a SOLO cup with a stick of crispy bacon in it as a swizzle stick and a wedge of cheese (or some other wedgeable thing that would go with a bloody mary for Nikki and any other anti-cheeseites in the crowd) as garnish, and call it the Bluegrass Breakfast Bomb!!!!

For those I haven't told, the bacon IS indeed cooked, extra crisp in fact, but the infusing (soaking) process makes it look raw.
I need someone to be in charge of supervising the bloody mary mix, since I've never really been a bloody mary drinker, I'm not really sure what all to put in there...I just know that the ones I've had that I liked had a whole bunch of different stuff...

Coffee and G(irl)-chat in the mornin'

I do love havin' my morning coffee and girls, so this is a big HOORAY for G-chat! I don't have any close girly-friends any closer than thirty miles, and with gas prices being what they are, coffee and biatches in the mornings is kinda hard to work out face to face.
I never had but one or two close girlfriends when I was growing up. I was raised by heathen boys, which is kinda like being raised by wolves, and mostly as the years went by, I was "one of the guys". The older I get, the more important it is to me to have strong women in my life, and BOY HOWDY are my G(irl)-chat girlies ever strong! You women mean the world to me, and I'm proud to know you and count you among my friends.
Now for the heathen boys, I still love y'all, and I got youz guys on the G(uy)-chat, too....don't feel left out, this post in no way means that I don't love, respect, and need y'all, but this one is for the girlies! So, to distract you from being left out, here's a chick with big knockers ;)
